He spent maybe 10 minutes showing me how to make fire essences and fur gloves, how to trade, how to /pm. He gave me some basic tips on getting around, and left me me a few needles and a pair of leather gloves. It was very useful and a nice way to get an idea of some of the neat things you can do in EL.
